Carabott Holt Turcinov – architects
The studio has developed a new brand for a Melbourne based architects, carried out over the first six months of 2012.
The brand was designed to communicate, in a crafted, clear, flexible, distinctive manner to stand the test of time. The studio started the process by understanding the firm; via a research and growth strategy phase, followed by comprehensively conceiving a brand concept, communication palette, collateral to brand guides.
The black and white palette showcases pared back typography, a stark custom brand mark; an extraction of letter forms based upon the fundamental post and lintel elements found in architecture. The brand caption – Making new architecture – was devised by the studio to herald, along with the new brand, new directions and vision for an established and evolving practice.
A range of applications was developed for the organisation suitable for internal documentation, print to digital.
